Description

Job Title: HR/Payroll Coordinator
Location: Cleveland, OH
Reports to: Human Resources
Job Level: Intermediate (non-supervisory); non-exempt


Responsibilities

Recruiting (20%):
Process new-hire paperwork in Paycor
Payroll Administration (25%):
Payroll administration including entering time off, reviewing time cards, verifying benefit and 401(k) deductions, distribution of checks
Processing of Employee Action Forms (Paycor changes and Help Tickets)
Provide internal support for Paycor for issues with logging in, creating accounts, approving hours, etc.

Payroll Administration (20%):
Payroll administration including entering time off, reviewing time cards, verifying benefit and 401(k) deductions, distribution of checks
Processing of Employee Action Forms (Paycor changes and Help Tickets)
Provide internal support for Paycor for issues with logging in, creating accounts, approving hours, etc.

Benefits Administration (20%):

Manage benefit administration including new-hire benefit meetings, enrollments and terminations, and COBRA paperwork  
Assist with annual Open Enrollment coordination
Track FMLA leave and disability claims coordination
Assist with wellness related initiatives, administering our wellness/employee recognition program and continuing to enhance our overall wellness program

HR Duties (40%):
Respond to employment verifications
Track company-wide training hours
Assist with responding to unemployment claims in Ohio as well as outside markets 
Assist with annual Health Fair coordination and planning
Participate actively in cross-functional teams and projects as needed
Provide administrative support and responsible for other duties and projects as assigned
Other HR-related duties as required

Required Skills and Experience

Education
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field required

Work Experience
Minimum of 3 years in an HR-related position required

Required Qualifications
Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
Must be highly organized and detail oriented with excellent follow-through
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision and easily adapt to changing situations
Ability to work ethically and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Working knowledge of payroll concepts, practices, and procedures along with HR laws and regulations
General knowledge of general accounting concepts (journal entries, trial balance, A/P, A/R, etc.)
Must be computer savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office programs
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with Paycor software
